CERUTTI SPIRITO IMPIANTI ARE WIDENING THEIR COMPANY WITH A NEW RESEARCH CENTRE
By Davide Benzi - Mediamando
After acquiring projects and know-how from MB, Cerutti Spirito Impianti from Casale started to invest in a new production plant
Cerutti Spirito Impianti are going to widen their production plant of Villanova Monferrato and are ready to face the end of the current year very positively, also aiming at taking part in the major events of 2008.
This company was established in 1990 by taking advantage of the expertise of Cerutti Spirito, which has been playing a key role for over 80 years in the field of industrial supplies and ventilation systems. Their business is focussed on the converting of paper and aluminium, including the designing and manufacture of laminating, coating and lacquering lines, as well as press retrofit/rebuilding.
Being specialized in ventilation systems for gravure lines, drying hoods and tunnels, Cerutti Spirito Impianti decided to consolidate its collaboration, established more than 25 years ago, with Officine Meccaniche Giovanni Cerutti-Cerutti Group, an associate company with a leading position in the press sector and highly appreciated worldwide for its retrofit solutions, including new heads, printing elements and coating carriages.
Today Cerutti Spirito and Cerutti Spirito Impianti have their point of reference at FINCER, a family holding, whose efforts have enabled this enterprise specialized in industrial supplies to become the main stock provider for the whole industrial area of Piedmont. Also the Plant Division, covering a surface of over 4000 sqm, is another important point of reference, since a part of it is dedicated to R&D.
In 2006, Cerutti Spirito Impianti acquired know-how and projects from “MB”. This enabled the company to increase its range of solutions and products by adding new
lines, whose quality is ensured by a vast experience, as well as optimized by a team of designers, developing the best Italian machine prototypes.
Today the company designs, for the so-called “hot” sector, Holt Melt coating lines, normal and reverse wax laminating lines, paraffin and bi-paraffin coating lines and overstreep laminating lines, and, for the so-called “cold”sector, lacquering and varnishing lines, primer and colour, capable of carrying out wet and dry, water-based and solvent-based or solventless lamination, with gravure, solventless, semiflexo and flexo coating technologies, and other alternatives, which are still being tested.
The company recently received orders for a special laminator with two coating heads and based on an interchangeable carriage system. This machine is arranged for carrying out a dual processing in a single passage. Orders were placed also for an aluminium lacquering machine, with a special high-performance semiflexo and gravure system with tunnel.
