Scaling new heights at drupa

With its new presentations at drupa, Konica Minolta follows the general trend towards digital production printing. This is no surprise because industry insiders like Infotrends have been predicting an enormous rate of growth for this area – more than 260 percent by 2010.

At its approximately 1,000m² stand (A26 in Hall 9), the company will display new digital printers in addition to highlights like the brand new monochrome system bizbub Pro 1200 under the motto of “Scale Up”. This new system has an output of up to three million pages per month and can be equipped with processing options like the GBC Smart-Punch Finisher.

Another world premiere is the bizhub Pro C65hc colour printer. This model is the first to work with the newly-developed High Chroma-Dry Toner, which aims to give the printer an especially high quality and a very comprehensive colour spectrum. According to Konica Minolta, this even makes it suitable for reproducing proofs.
