Handing over responsibilities: Volker Ohl is going

This year’s drupa is his last: Volker Ohl will be retiring in January 2009. Since May 1970 Volker Ohl has been in charge of exhibitor services at Messe Düsseldorf and has thus been the first point of contact for all questions concerning trade fair participation.

His successor, Jens-Michael Bierschenk, has already taken up his position and has been actively involved in the drupa Team since autumn 2007. The 37-year old has extensive experience of event management – and not only due to his tourism/business administration studies focusing on event and industrial management as well as marketing. During his professional career he has also devised and realized various major events
