Belgian printer invests in first Komori press – an 8-colour Lithrone S40P

Luc Peeters, Manager of Peeters Publishing, Printing & Book Store in Leuven, Belgium, made a major change of print technology on the first day of Drupa. After many years of only operating Heidelberg presses he has bought his first Komori press. “Komori’s 8-colour B1 longer perfector is a well established press and offers outstanding quality and flexibility at a competitive price.”

Peeters was established in 1806 and has been in the same family for the past 150 years. “This is a big investment for us but we have planned it carefully. It will increase our scientific and academic book printing capacity by 35% and ultimately raise our turnover and profitability.”
