How much workflow does prepress, press and postpress need?

As in 2000 and 2004, Messe Düsseldorf is offering drupa Highlights Tours to help visitors gain a quick overview of a specific theme and, given the large number of innovations on show, this should prove an extremely useful service.

Computer-to-Plate is an absolute must for an industrial workflow, and from the almost bewildering array on offer those taking part in Tour 1 will have a chance to learn about the most important new developments. Whether thermal or UV, digital or conventional, participants will also be able to take a look at the most interesting innovations in the plate sector. The Tour will visit Mitsubishi, CTP Optotec, Heidelberg, Lüscher, Kodak, Basysprint, Agfa and Fujifilm.

Following on from the JDF drupa of 2004, networked print production will continue to be a focus of interest for many visitors in 2008. Tour 9 (Dalim, Hiflex, KBA, Heidelberg, PPI Media, Agfa, Fujifilm and Kodak) will therefore be exclusively dedicated to this area. The right workflow systems together with network-ready machines and units in prepress, press and postpress allow print production to be organized much more efficiently. This Highlights Tour will also show how the customer can be integrated into the workflow.

Please remember: the number of participants per tour is limited. Don’t delay, book places now for you and your colleagues on the Highlights Tours of your choice. For info and to book, go to: www.highlightstouren.de or go to the Highllights Tour Stand in front of Hall 9.
