Zero Hora is eyeing new markets
Zero Hora in Porto Alegre, Brazil has ordered three Ferag inserting lines with RollSertDrum technology, RollStream, MultiDisc and MultiStack as part of a major investment project.
The company is entering the industrial newspaper post-processing sector to capitalise on the growing market with the three Ferag inserting lines. Technical director Cristiano Nygaard said: "Ferag has given us unique possibilities to extend the system step by step and according to the growing needs of the market. Thus today’s technology will keep its high value for the challenges of tomorrow. "Furthermore Ferag has offered a solution that allows us, to reach a maximum of performance with minimum of equipment."
Zero Hora already has plans to extend the system with the installation of a StreamStitch and a trimming drum SNT-U into one of the three Ferag lines. Zero Hora is owned by the RBS group and publishes two tabloid dailies: 180,000-circulation Zero Hora and Diario Gaucho with 200,000 copies distributed.
