Ricoh, EFI in POD [Punct Space] tie-up

Ricoh and EFI have unveiled a new machine born from their joint venture and aimed at the high-end print-on-demand market.

Ricoh said that the EFI Fiery platform optimises the new 90ppm (pages per minute) Ricoh Pro C900 with top speed, quality, and powerful VDP, and increases return on equipment investment for its customers in print for pay, reprographic and graphic arts production environments, as well as service bureaus and direct mail companies.

At the Ricoh, located at booth A60 in hall 9, the manufacturer is demonstrating the new Fiery with several applications enabled by the EFI Advanced Workstream Solutions portfolio for Ricoh customers in the professional print market.
