Italian digital printer Pixart.it has promised to become the ‘Ryanair of the print industry’ after it placed yesterday’s biggest order, for for seven HP Indigo 7000 presses.
The company, which has achieved a 100% annual growth for the past four years, will replace its existing 5000 and five 3050 presses when it upgrades its production capacity with the machines. Chairman and owner Matteo Rigamonti said: "We need more production and to optimise the workflow. After this deal, we are
like the Ryanair of the print industry – we have the same plane, the same spare parts and the same skills for the operators. This makes it very easy to manage."
Pixart.it, which receives 1,000 orders every day from 45,000 European customers, is also interested in Indigo’s new web press. "We plan to buy two W7200 presses once it is available," he said.Italian digital printer Pixart.it has promised to become the ‘Ryanair of the print industry’ after it placed yesterday’s biggest order, for for seven HP Indigo 7000 presses.
