Océ 's first web-fed full colour duplex ColorStream 10000

Océ will be shipping it’s very first web-fed full colour duplex ColorStream 10000 to Printforce in The Netherlands in August.

Printforce, part of the US Sheridan Group, will be using this machine next to its existing two VarioStream 9210s, producing books.

Kees Funcke, general manager at Printforce, said: "In scientific publications, catalogues and school books, we are seeing a growing demand for colour pages. The ColorStream is going to enable us to do that in a very efficient way."

As Frits Janssen at Océ, explained: "The system automatically chooses the fastest available speed according to the required number of colours. So your productivity goes up. Combined with dynamic pricing, that gives Printforce the economic edge."
