Ferag lines for Dow Jones

Representatives of Dow Jones & Company and Ferag celebrate their recent deal

Dow Jones & Company has signed up for two Ferag MSD high performance inserting lines at drupa.

Each line consists of a MultiSertDrum MSD-2C inserting system with RollStream allowing for the daily zoned inserting of six supplements into the main product. A MultiDisc DiscPool winding/unwinding system will dynamically buffer the product off each of its two existing Ferag gripper conveyor lines.
The new kit will be used for the daily inserting of supplements into the Wall Street Journal and weekly title Barron’s.
Installation is slated for early 2009 at Dow Jones’ South Brunswick, New Jersey printing facility.
