In modern trimming applications a precise cut is as important as low operating costs. Just as critical is a fast and easy adjustment of the trimmers to avoid expensive set-up times, especially in case of frequently changing formats and other production requirements.

Rima-System is proud to present the new RS 831, an innovative 'all-in-one' rotary trimming line based on the proven technology of the RS 830 and which is designed to fulfill all demands on modern trimmers. Two trimming units and a bumpturn are mounted on a stable, movable rack for flexible operation behind diverse delivery scenarios. The complete encapsulation of the trimming units ensures a more quiet operation. Proven features like infeeds with Hexbrator Technology, Multi-Knife-Tech­no­logy, integrated knife cooling and Zero Gap Adjustment guarantee a precise cut, a perfect run-out and a long edge life.

The RS 831 can be delivered as a trimming line with manual adjustment or as an automated solution with electrical adjustment and a digital workflow interface. In the second case, the RS 831 will be operated via a graphical display at the machine or centrally via digital data format (e.g. Job Ticket). For future-oriented printing plants the RS 831 is the perfect solution for reliable and cost-effective trimming.
