Roland’s Russian rewards

Halfway through drupa, more than 50 manroland printing and coating units had already been sold to Russia. Attikus in Tver invested in 17 new medium and large format printing units.

Another order came from Moscow printer Alpha-Design, which ordered a 10-colour Roland 500 with reversing and coating unit, to be used for enhanced-efficiency commercial production. Other Russian printers have also ordered sheetfed presses from Offenbach. Manroland also announced a world premiere at the show: the
sale of the first Roland 50 to Druckhaus Eckenfelder in Wenigenlupnitz in Thuringia, Germany.
