H. C. Moog is the leading press designer and

manufacturer of Sheet-fed Gravure printing

presses in versions “Multicolour” and “Compact”

for premium printing and for refinement work.

Premium printing is covering the entire range

of package printing in all fields like cosmetic,

perfume, tobacco, labels and more.

The additional ranges are graphic arts printing,

continuous tone printing and security printing.

All kind of embossing work like micro embossing

for hidden information and blind embossing are

features of sheet-fed gravure. The features

include in addition tactile varnish applications.

The refinement gravure press “Compact” closes

the gap if an environmental friendly, variable,

fast and stable production counts.

Sheet-fed Gravure presses handle all kind of

paper and cardboard – or other material, of a

grammage from 75 up to 600 g/m².

Gravure inks and varnishes can be used in all

kind of demands. As reference to the environment

and with great success printers use water-based

and UV-based ink and varnish for Green Printing

with the Moog presses but with Gravure quality.

Image carriers can be chosen according to the

copies of a print job. Traditional cylinders and the

new digital exposed photopolymer plates are

now on the market for a low cost and fast handling.
