Frédérique Thureau (TCBL)
Sustainable T&C Business Advisor

Innovation strategies, business models, value chains and stakeholders’ecosystems to support the radical transformation of the industry’s responsibility towards environment (green) and society (equity).

Frédérique Thureau has been a marketing and business advisor for SMEs since 2008. Building on former expertise in the Luxury PPR group (now Kering), she has been since 2016 a partner of the Textile and Clothing Business Labs network (www.tcbl.eu). She is now working on building a bio-based, local and circular community in the T&C sector (Herewear), on fostering local and regenerative ecosystems (Fabrix), on practice-based sustainability programs for Universities and VET institutions (TexRev, Vetrine, Shoedes) and was formerly coordinating Shemakes, to empower future  female  innovators of the T&C sustainable transformation.

In parallel, she supports SMEs and startups at their early-stage development and teaches entrepreneurship-as-a-practice to engineers. She believes that human, environmental and social values are key to develop the impact economy of the 21st century.

Dr. Laetitia Forst  (University of Arts London)
Scientific textile design

Background in textile design, she graduated with a masters from ENSAD Paris in 2015. She went on to work as a freelance designer and consultant before starting her PhD research with the Centre for Circular Design, which she completed in 2020. One of her key interests is in the effects of sustainability ‘constraints’ on the creative process, considering how they can be drivers for innovation rather than limitations. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher on two University of Arts London research projects: the Business of Fashion Textiles and Technology (BFTT) project with the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, and HEREWEAR with the Centre for Circular Design.

Textile engineer and manager, who graduated from University Albstadt-Sigmaringen in Germany. Experience and insights in the discounter textile business as buying product manager and junior sourcing manager Asia. Since 2020 business development and project manager at Mitwill Textiles in France. Contribution as a project manager to the participation of Mitwill in four EU projects and writing proposals, as well managing company projects for innovation, sustainability and digitization.
