Ultraviolet curing is a broad purpose manufacturing tool that rapidly polymerizes film and plate extrusions as well as inks, coatings, and adhesives applied to diverse material substrates and constructions often in the form of sheets, webs, assemblies, and fully formed products. This presentation addresses the design and integration process used by GEW to expertly fit mercury arc, LED, and excimer curing systems onto both new and existing production lines while simultaneously minimizing downtime and disruption. Specific UV converting applications relevant to drupa attendees and IoT technology, such as UV system remote monitoring, will also be discussed. Join us at 15.20 - 15.50 CET on 20th April (14.20 - 14.50 BST).
