, As a member of the drupa Expert Panel you participated last spring in the 9th Global Trends survey of the state of the print industry. You will recall that in addition to the standard questions, we asked for your views on key technical and market developments that were likely to dominate drupa 2024. With insufficient space in the main Trends report published in November, we are publishing this special Print Horizons report to summarise these findings. In addition, the report’s authors, Printfuture, conducted a series of in-depth interviews with industry specialists on the topics highlighted. Together the survey findings and the interviews make fascinating reading, giving excellent guidance on how printers and suppliers can best exploit the many rapid changes in technology and markets. These in turn must feed into the priorities for both exhibitors and visitors to drupa 2024 in May/June.
