, One year before the start of the trade fair in May 2016, one thing is certain: drupa 2016 will show the complete world market for print and crossmedia solutions and is clearly on the road to success. The entire value chain from prepress to finishing and the complete range of applications for commercial, publishing, packaging and functional printing will be at drupa 2016. The global players of the industry are just as represented as the smaller companies or the innovative start-ups, the large supplier nations just the same as the smaller or exotic countries. The preparations for the 16th drupa are running at full speed. The laying out of 19 trade fair halls, the organisation of the specialist supporting programme and the touch points for the highlight themes, the realisation of the crossmedia marketing campaigns and global PR activities – all of this is on the current agenda. Right now, the focus is on the intensive dialogue with the exhibitors and the detailed planning and/or structuring of the halls. The drupa team, together with its partners, is also working flat out on the specialist supporting programme. While at drupa innovation park, it is all about concrete technology offers and business models, at drupa cube the focus is on print and its fascination. Under the motto “educating, entertaining, engaging“, international experts will hold inspiring keynote speeches during the eleven trade fair days.
