Hybrid presses for labels have come a long way

The continued growth of digital printing in the narrow web segment and the development of hybrid presses have led to impressive innovations that combine flexo and inkjet printing. The combination of different printing technologies offers label manufacturers greater flexibility and enables the production of a wide range of label requirements in a single pass. Pioneer Mark Andy developed the first true hybrid solution and soon other manufacturers such as BOBST, Fujifilm and Reynders followed this trend and developed the technologies further.
