Recent research provides an optimistic outlook for the packaging industry. By merging two innovative polymerization methods, scientists based in Japan succeeded in producing sustainable polymers. Their findings open the doors to long-lasting alternative packaging materials.

tesa launches recycled PET packaging tape

This year, tesa launched a recycled PET packaging tape and thereby provides a new alternative to the conventional polyvinyl chloride (PVC) packaging tape. Designed by the global manufacturer of adhesive tapes, the sustainable packaging tape made of recycled PET bottles will lead the way towards a circular economy across the global supply chain: from businesses in food and beverage to logistics.

DATEV apprentices design sustainable cookbook

DATEV is usually known for its accounting and payroll services. However, the company also offers print and digital services at the DATEV Digital & Print Solution Center. As part of their training, DATEV's apprentices are creating a print medium completely independently and decided to design a sustainable cookbook, combining their knowledge from a wide range of areas.
