was founded in 1985 and has gone from strength to strength in the intervening years. By 1990, Heiber + Schröder (H+S) was already the market leader in window patching equipment. This leadership keeps getting stronger, due to their growing market share and wide variety of possibilities.
A large number of technologies, first developed by H+S, have made significant impacts in today's market for window patching machines. For example, in the late 80's, H+S started the development of new technologies for pick-and-place operations in the folding carton industry, and by doing so, created new markets. Later, in 1998, H+S launched the world's first window patching machine with automatic setting.
After window patching, tray forming is the company´s second major. Since introduction, in 1993, of a new concept for the production of conical trays, H+S has gone on to become a market leader in this field as well. In addition to these products, H+S offers tailor-made solutions for processing of carton and film.
Currently, Heiber + Schröder is represented in 62 countries, with more than 95 % of their annual turnover coming from exports. Development, design and production takes place at their headquarters in Erkrath, Germany. After-sales back-up is provided by service agencies strategically located around the world.
