The JORG UV.Coater 520 is a professional UV coating system for finishing print products in offset and digital printing.
Offering unbeatable cost-effectiveness, this system features a working width of 520 mm (B2) as standard and is supplied fully equipped, making it the perfect complement to your existing equipment and a sound investment for your company.
With the JORG UV.Coater 520, high-quality application rollers transfer the coating to the printed substrate in a single pass. UV light generated by a burner dries the coating in a fraction of a second. The large roller diameter with a shore hardness of 65° ensure that this process applies the coating evenly and gives a smooth surface texture.
The JORG UV.Coater 520 is equipped with many special functions as standard.
Even the basic version of the system features a working width of 520 mm und is therefore suitable for the B2 format. It can easily be integrated into almost any working environment. Thanks to a motorised bridge (option) the JORG UV.Coater 520 can easily be operated in online mode with numerous digital printing presses, such as HP Indigo or Xeikon.
Further quality features of the JORG UV.Coater 520 are adjustable tank heater for pre-heated UV coating and integrated infrared lamp. This is specifically required with wax toner based digital printing systems such as Konika-Minolta, MGI, or Xerox 1000, in order to fix the coating permanently on the substrate.
And during the development of the JORG UV.Coater 520, particular attention was also paid to the safety aspect.
Powerful fans are used to carry the ozone emissions safely to the outside, enabling the JORG UV.Coater 520 to be easily operated in any office environment. Special quartz filters in front of the UV burner act as a thermal bridge and prevent the substrate from overheating and thereby combat the risk of fire. In addition, integrated fans maintain optimum UV temperature. The JORG UV.Coater 520 is CE certified.
Available is the JORG UV.Coater 520 with different input options. With pile feeder for autonomous operation, with motorized bridge for online access to digital presses or with loading table for manual operation.
