The cutting and banding process of rectangular labels is always a big challenge, especially when small sizes or difficult materials have to be cut. The ATLAS-1200 was designed for this special application. The strip stacks, previously cut on a guillotine cutter, are always properly guided and held down before and during the cutting process. Because this process takes place in a very controlled manner and therefore with highest process reliability, the ATLAS-1200 is used by many security printing companies for the cutting process of tax stamps. Even numbered products can be easily cut and banded.

The producers of beer labels especially appreciate the ATLAS-1200 for its ability to be equipped for the banding process of maxi packs.

If very large quantities of small labels or tax stamps have to be cut and banded, the ATLAS-1200 is also available in a "double strip" version (ATLAS-1200 Double Stream) with nearly double the capacity. For medium-size and large label formats, the maximum capacity can be achieved with the ATLAS-40.

The D-20.M ram punching machine is the core of the modular ATLAS system. This manually loadable machine is known for its top precision, user-friendliness, optimum safety and nevertheless maximum performance. Thanks to its compact and stable design, the D-20.M is not only the ideal machine for labels and card producers, which have a small to medium quantity range, but also for printers, who have to efficiently and accurately bring its pre-cut paper or plastic products “in shape” according to special customer wishes.

As the central element of the semi- or fully automatic ATLAS systems used worldwide, the D-20.M punch can be upgraded to the following production systems: ATLAS-1140, ATLAS-1120, ATLAS-1110

The most difficult materials, such as aluminium bottleneck labels, slippery and thin plastic foils, or strongly embossed labels with narrow borders require a counter pressure die-cutting system. The DG-20.M is the basic counter-pressure model, which can be manually loaded with pre-cut stacks of labels in the range of small to medium sizes.

Top precision is always guaranteed with this refined counter-pressure system. Thanks to the very precise and centrally adjustable counter-pressure plate in the die, the "pillowing” effect of spongy materials can be prevented. Size differences between the top and bottom labels within the stack are then eliminated. The completely punched label stacks can be conveniently taken out of the machine opposite the loading station. Thanks to the clever punching sequence, an unbeatable performance and quality for counter-pressure systems can be achieved with this technology.

The DG-20.M is the core model of all our semi- and fully automatic counter-pressure systems and can therefore be upgraded to an ATLAS AG-1140, an ATLAS AG-1120 or an ATLAS AG-1110.

For the production of medium to large size label stacks, the large-format DG-35.M counter pressure punching machine is used.
