At Drupa 2016, Flexo Concepts® will introduce a variety of new MicroTip® variations on its TruPoint Orange® doctor blade to enhance performance in flexo printing and coating applications.
The TruPoint Orange blade was introduced to the international market as a replacement for steel in 2013. Since then, Flexo Concepts has been focusing on improving blade tip technology and fine-tuning its newest blade product to further improve productivity. New variations on the companys trademarked MicroTip will now allow printers to choose a blade to optimize metering effectiveness, maximize blade life and maintain a safe pressroom environment. For example, MicroTip 8 provides longer blade life for most process work, and MicroTip 10 is a more robust option for white decks and coarser anilox rolls. The range of options allow a printer to select a blade based on his precise application. Due to the material characteristics, all Orange blades will last longer than steel as well as reduce anilox scoring and pressroom injuries.
Flexo Concepts is committed to making printers more efficient and profitable through doctor blade innovations created in its Plymouth, Massachusetts design and manufacturing facility. The company makes the management of doctor blades easy and uses a consultative approach to help printers find the right product.
