New FX 3

Think Laboratory is announcing the new New FX3, a gravure cylinder making system which is capable of solvent
and VOC less water based ink, 5μ cell depth. Fundamental concept of New FX2 is carried over to New FX3 but
additionally to keep more constant quality is improved. Quality of cylinder is better than engraving and operated
by easy operation. Cylinder with New FX3 makes best standard printing ever in the past.
Some improved points
1 ) TH dot with new highly precise etching unit to control constant high quality depth
2 ) Controlling developing time automatically at MMI with automatic analyzing unit
3 ) Newly developed photoresist does not require drying unit anymore
4 ) Upgraded Cu anodes for controlling additive which leads 20% less use of additive in total
5 ) Changing from Ni to Alkaline Cu to have better constant quality for base steel adhesive
6 ) Variable spray type depending on cylinder size to cut 20% of chemical use
7 ) Automatic cleaning or automatic dosing at B Zone which helps the operator work
8 ) Command the depth at MMI which prevents human error while numbering the etching time

FXIJ-1 AQUA

Think Laboratory is annoucing, VOC less ink jet printer for water based ink with roll to roll on film,"FXIJ-1 AQUA".
Web size of 540mm available on standard substrate such as PET is now operatable with simple touch panel for
job less than 2,000m which was not profitable job for Gravure Printing. On this touch panel, prepress soft
"PACKZ" is equipped to work from design data to final data. FXIJ-1 AQUA works to variable printing for each individual design jobs.

Ink is developed with KAO, chemical company. This VOC less Water Based Ink is safer and friendly to working environment compared with ordinary solvent gravure ink used for food package or UV ink. Water Based Ink with resolution of 600 dpi ink jet printer makes perfect combination to express all in small detail. Quality of ink jet printer output ensures the same quality of what we can achieve with Gravure technology.
