The Thickness Gauge is a device for relative measurement: Thickness (µm) Weight by area(g/m2) Using Low-energy soft X-Rays, based on a change to X-Rays transmitted. The System is available for both In-Line and Off-Line.
Optical Flaw Inspection is for a wide range of “plain materials,” such as Film, Metal(foil), Paper and Nonwoven fabrics.
For Films typical defects include Fish Eyes, Gels, Foreign matter and Pin holes. For Metal (foils) flaws include Dents, Bumps and Uneven buffing. For Paper, the flaw includes Oil contamination, Water marks and Paper tears.
The optical conditions vary by material type and application process. We therefore adapt the optical set up to obtain the optimum detect ability.
We have experience in a wide range of applications and diverse industries collected during the 30 years we have been designing and manufacturing inspection systems. The knowledge gained enables us to propose optimum system specifications to ensure you receive the best solution to meet your needs. We are actively developing new state-of-the-art technologies for inspection in-house at our R&D Center in Japan. Our R&D development program enables us to stay ahead of new process and material development so that we can offer an inspection tool for new markets.
Printed Web Inspection Systems are intended to inspect a wide range of “Printed materials”, such as Flexible Packaging Film, Cigarette Cartons and Pharmaceutical packaging continuously printed by Gravure, Flexo or Offset printing machines.
In order to establish profound customer confidence you have to be 100% sure about your product. That means you have to inspect the whole of it. Which is surprisingly easy. Using FUTEC's tried and trusted flaw detection systems you can automate your quality control and gain 100% transparency of your printing process.
FUTEC was founded in Japan, the country with unparalleled expertise in building cameras. Back in 1977 it started out as a pioneer in inspection technology. Today it is a leading company with about 9000 inspection systems installed around the world and a 60% market share in Asia. Our customers rely on our mature product, engineered with Japanese know-how.
FUTEC is present in Europe for more than 20 years. With our new European Sales- and Service Center we are getting even closer to our European customers. Fast delivery and immediate service can be provided as well as training either in remote sessions or in person. At our training center in Duisburg we introduce your staff in operating the systems in order to optimise the workflow and effectivity.
