Product category: Tube cutting and winding machines
As shorter tubes are needed for various purposes, than can be produced on the spiral tube winder with cut-off unit, it is necessary to cut the tubes on another machine. On these tube recutters, the tube is pushed onto the mandrel, where it is split by one or more circular score-cut knives. Guschky & Tönnesmann supply several types of tube recutting machines.
The model AZB works with one knife and serves mainly to cut long and thick - walled tubes (cores) used in paper mills. The models DEb and DEd (three mandrel cutting) cut with several knives simultaneously and their design is of highest efficiency.
They operate either semiautomatic of fully automatic tube loading and discharge.
Guschky builds not only reliable production systems but also suitable packaging systems. The following options are, on principle, available for this task:
1. Short tubes and cores can be packed in carton-trays, in cartons or stillages.
2. Medium and long tubes up to 10 m are usually stacked and bundled with gantry cranes or simple fork-lift carriers.
It goes without saying that we offer various degrees of automation all the way to full automation totally without personnel. We have gathered comprehensive experience with all common packaging types for more than 15 years and all of this is available to our customers.
