One® CtP 1100: The high-end 8-page CTP

The innovative 8-page platesetter One CtP 1100 from CtpOptotec is fast, precise and user-friendly. One CtP 1100 is compatible with all thermal plate technologies, including waterless plates, with a plate size between 240 x 240 mm and 1.078 x 850 mm. One CtP 1100 is operated via a touch screen that is easy to use. The drum motors and drive technology of the One CtP 1100 make a quick acceleration and high speed possible, enabling a plate production of up to 38 plates per hour.
One ILH & MultiRES®

Like the 4-page 750 series, One CtP 1100 is the ideal solution for high resolution printers. We developed both a software- and hardware-based option that enables resolutions of up to 7.620 dpi.

The hardware-based option One ILH (Interchangeable Laser Head) is available in One ILH Standard Resolution (2.540 dpi), Medium Resolution (5.080 dpi) and One ILH High Resolution. Via a special laser module and dot size of < 4 µm, One ILH High Resolution offers a fixed 7.620 dpi for extremely fine and sharp reproductions. The software-based option MultiRES enables users to swith between various resolutions of up to 7.620 dpi. This makes it easier to perform print jobs with different quality requirements, enabling users to save time and increase production speed.

Additional options to automate and upgrade One CtP 1100 are an in-line punching system and the plate feeding tower One Autoloader. Delivered free with each One CtP 1100 is the entry-level module of our workflow software One Workflow.

One® CtP 750: The highly flexible, compact 4-page CTP

The 4-page platesetter One CtP 750 with its sleek and compact design offers users a maximum of flexibility and user-friendliness. One CtP 750 can process up to 41 plates per hour (based on 2.400 dpi) and is compatible with all thermal plates of min. 240 x 220 mm and max. 745 x 665 mm. One CtP 750 is operated via a touch screen, which is simple and clear in handling.

Like the 1100 series, One CtP 750 works with thermal laser technology and has two high resolution options. One ILH, the hardware-based option, is available in One ILH Standard Resolution (2.540 dpi), Medium Resolution (5.080 dpi) and One ILH High Resolution. Using a special laser module and a dot size of < 4 µm, One ILH High Resolution offers a fixed 7.620 dpi for finest results.
MultiRES, the software-based option, enables users to switch easily between 2.540, 5.080 and 7.620 dpi. This will support a smooth production process, making it easy to perform various print jobs with different quality standards.

The One CtP series comprises of the One CtP 750 (4-page) and 1100 (8-page) imagesetter, each designed to meet the needs of different production environments. In combination with One Autoloader, One CtP can be considered as one of the most advanced, compact and automated CTP system available.
Technology become progress when it is for everyone

High flexibility is one the most important features of One CtP. Both the One CtP 750 and 1100 can image up to 40 plates per hour and handle every type of thermal plate with plate sizes ranging from min. 240 x 220 mm to max. 1.078 x 850 mm. This way, One CtP is able to support a wide range of offset presses.
With the interchangeable laser head One ILH and the high resolution option MultiRES it is possible to easily switch between various resolutions of up to 7.620 dpi. This makes One CtP ideal for print jobs with varying resolution requirements. Additionally, a 3D lenticular output mode is available on both models to support crisp 3D printing.

With these features, One CtP enables high value-added printing and will enhance differentiation in the market place. Moreover, with the new One Autoloader, the level of operability, automation and flexibility of the One CtP can be further optimized. The ability to load plates during continuous exposure results in increased production volumes and the ability to keep up with the needs of multiple printing jobs and high-speed presses.
One CtP is delivered with a free entry-level version of the workflow software One Workflow. The entry-level solution can later be complemented with optional workflow modules such as MultiRIP.

All thermal plate technologies can be used with both One CtP series. The following list gives an overview of the plates that we have up till now certified for use with One CtP. The data concerning the quality and productivity have been calculated, based on the proper conservation of the plates and a plate size of 1.030 x 830 mm

In 2006 an R&D project was launched with the idea of revolutionizing the basic principle of a Ctp external drum system with a laser thermal print head. From the success of this project, CtpOptotec was born, becoming the first Italian producer of computer-to-plate systems for digital plates printing. The first version of the platesetter One Ctp was presented in 2008 during Drupa. In October 2011 a new upgraded version was launched on the market. At Drupa 2012 a second pre-press solution was presented, the workflow managing software One Workflow. The latest addition to the product range is One Autoloader, also presented at Drupa 2012.2015 marked a milestone for CtpOptotec, with the entry of a new propriety and new capital. A challenging new mission starts with this relaunch: to develop the company with the aim of making it the go-to expert in the field of pre-press.

+ New production site

In addition to our current production site, we also have a second one in Naples, where One Ctp is produced. Starting from 2014 we are thus able to start a series production on demand from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 100 devices.
+ Training of technical assistance

Choice between on-site and online (remote) assistance. Our trainings offer a mutual exchange of knowledge on One Ctp and help us keep maintenance costs for our clients and dealers to a minimum. More info on the Sharing Knowledge program.


+ Strengthened global distribution network

Thanks to our partners, we are now present in the Netherlands, Russia, France, Spain, Iran, Cambodia, Bangladesh, UAE, UK, Ireland, Iceland, Nordic countries.


+ Constant development of One Ctp system

Both from a functional and an operational perspective. We are currently working on the development of a UV laser module for the engraving of conventional plates. This way a One Ctp user will be able to set the laser module of the machine shifting from thermal to UV and back. The UV laser module is also available as a solution for other Ctp producers.

Evolution 2014, an innovative software for One Ctp 750 and 1100 platesetters, fFexo Ctp and Ctp for newspapers are only some of our projects under development.
