For us, one of the key achievements of INDUSTRY 4.0 is that PLC manufacturers have made interoperability between machines and PCs simple, giving them the ability for easy sharing of information. The information generated during production is processed from sensors located at different points of the machine or in the machine's own PLC, IPC and forward to the next production equipment or return to the corporate governance system. With this solution, the current state of the production process can be accurately tracked and more accurate pre- and post-calculations can be prepared from the information continuously collected by the machines. From the point of view of maintenance, it is important that we also receive continuous information about the components of the machines, which we use after evaluation for predictive maintenance. We can predict the wear and tear, failure of the parts, helping with scheduled maintenance and thus reducing production downtime due to unexpected failures.
