Global die-manufacturer Marbach launched its Experience Hub in December 2020. This online platform for the packaging industry contains videos, animations, digital brochures as well as white papers on important industry-specific topics. Since the launch in December, many interested visitors have already used the platform as it provides them with exclusive content related to the packaging industry.
Jan Brunner: "With our Experience Hub, we are creating a whole new platform for the packaging industry. Here, we offer users genuine added value through exclusive content: we communicate our latest news, provide important background information and supply visitors with detailed specialist information on the subject of packaging production. In this way, we are creating a new network where visitors can obtain information quickly and easily and make direct contact with our specialists. The Experience Hub has been very well received by our customers. This is shown by the high number of users, a number which is increasing daily."
The Marbach Experience Hub has started by providing information on the topics folding carton and corrugated board, further topics will follow in 2021.
The globally active die-maker Marbach now has added a new technology to its portfolio that allows customers to calibrate their die-cutting machines themselves. This ensures perfect interaction between the individual stations of the die-cutting machine and all upper and lower tools. For maximum performance in packaging production.
Jan Brunner, Head of Business Development at Marbach: "If the individual stations and the upper and lower tool parts in a die-cutting machine are not perfectly synchronized, timeconsuming set-up processes are inevitable. Our solution: the calibration tool. This sets a diecutting machine to 0 and calibrates all stations perfectly to each other. This increases process reliability in the overall process and significantly reduces set-up times for each individual job."
The globally operating diemaker Marbach will participate in the digital drupa 2021. After the organizer, Messe Duesseldorf, cancelled drupa 2021 due to the current unforeseeable pandemic situation, the originally planned on-site exhibition will be replaced by a 4-day online program. This online event will take place from April 20-23, 2021.
Tina Dost, Marketing Manager at Marbach: "Frankly, we had expected drupa 2021 to be cancelled. After numerous exhibitors had withdrawn their participation in recent months it was expected that the number of international visitors would decrease significantly. We therefore consider the cancellation a good and correct decision by Messe Duesseldorf. drupa lives because of its international character and the fact that it is a unique global meeting place for the packaging industry. This status would have been more than threatened by travel restrictions and the uncertainty caused by COVID-19."
Marbach will participate in the virtual version of drupa and provide online visitors with exciting information about die-cutting of packaging. On the virtual platform, the online areas "Exhibition Space", "Conference Area" and "Networking Plaza" will digitally link the visitors with the exhibitors.
The next stationary drupa will take place from May 28 to June 7, 2024.
The Heilbronn-based diemaker Marbach has further developed its platen cleaning device mplaten|cleaner. Until now, different cleaning devices were necessary for corrugated board and paperboard die-cutting machines. Now there is a single universal device which is compatible with all common machine types.
Erik Bülow, Sales Marbach Die Supplies & Automation: "The new mplaten|cleaner is designed in such a way that it can be used in all die-cutting machines commonly available on the market. It is an indispensable device for cleaning the cutting platen. Even the best tool is useless if the platen is uneven and dirty. With the mplaten|cleaner, our customers now have one universal device with which they can clean their whole machine park. Quite simply One size fits all."
The new mplaten|cleaner is available at Marbach in February.
