H. C. Moog is the leading manufacturer of sheetfed rotogravure presses in versions "Multicolor" and "Compact" for premium printing, refinement work and print enhancement.

Premium printing is covering the entire range of package printing in all fields like cosmetic, perfume, tobacco, labels and more. The additional ranges are art-printing including continuous tone printing and security printing. All kind of embossing work like micro embossing for hidden images and blind embossing are also features of sheetfed gravure. The features include in addition tactile, haptic varnishes and ink applications. The refinement gravure press "Compact" closes the gap if an environmentally friendly, variable, fast and stable production counts. Sheet-fed engraving presses handle all kind of paper and card board - or other material, of grammages from 75 up to 600 g/m². The MOOG sheetfed rotogravure use conventional gravure inks and varnishes which has the best recycling rates overall in the printing industry.

Henry Cornelius Moog founded the company in 1950 and also is responsible
for the design of the MOOG logo which illustrates a printing unit. The "M"
shows the drying section, the two "Os" the printing and pressure cylinder and
the "G" the ink pan with the doctor blade.
Since its foundation, Moog has developed special sheet-fed and webmachines
in gravure; flexo; screen printing and handling machines for a constantly changing market.
Accordingly, Moog continues to develop, design and produce new solutions and
For years, the focus has been on sheet-fed gravure printing machines for highquality
printing with orders in the folding carton industry and label- and security
businesses. Moog serves sectors such as print enhancement, cosmetics, perfume, tobacco, confectionery,
and general finishing for the printing industry with conventional gravure
inks, UV and water-based inks and varnishes.
