VERO LineScan, Verification and Inspection System
VERO LineScan is an advanced machine vision system which combines 1D/2D/OCR/OCV decoding of variable data with print quality inspection in one high performance inspection system. It can be supplied with different configurations in order to cope with virtually any printing process, from single label print inspection to large scale, fast digital printing on narrow web processes.
Any combination of alphanumeric strings and 1D/2D codes are decoded and verified in real-time against the expected data, available on a database or fixed during the batch run. The decoding is combined with a print quality inspection (ink in excess or missing, tone mismatch, blurs, streaks, smears, foreign ink/graphics and etc.), on print areas with static content.

PASSIONATA Mano, Stand-Alone Passport Booklet Serialization System
The stand-alone machine PASSIONATA Mano gives its user exceptional flexibility, as it is available in various machine configurations. The high-performance CO2 laser system allows perforating the visa pages with a unique booklet number. The laser perforation includes different geometrical designs, such as squares, triangles and circles. Moreover, it is possible to print a number onto a single page by an impact letterpress numbering station with the Direct Drive numbering box through an ink ribbon. The booklets are manually placed on an auto slide-in/out table. Processing speeds of up to 300 passport booklets per hour are possible.

Since the foundation in 1955, ZEISER has specialised in the production of high-precision numbering systems. In the mid 1990s, with the increasing demand of variable serialisation, the company then added non-impact inkjet technology to its portfolio. The new digital inkjet technology was not only used in the security printing field, but also deployed for card personalisation and packaging printing applications.
Since 2002, the company has been a part of the Switzerland-based Orell Füssli Group, the official printer of the Swiss banknote. After the recent sale of the digital printing business, it is now again focused on supplying the security printing industry with impact and non-impact serialisation solutions for banknotes, travel documents, tax stamps and other security documents.
Today ZEISER is the world leader in numbering technology for the banknote industry and in serialisation technology for passport booklets. The expertise in combining different technologies for variable data printing also includes software solution for T&T applications.
