The Xeikon PX2000 and PX3000 expand Xeikon’s product portfolio and application reach, enabling a wide range of new, digitally printed, label applications. They are based on Panther technology and run on PantherCure UV ink.

Vectorizor is an innovative new software add-on to the Xeikon X-800 digital front-end that defines a new standard in communication with die cutting devices. It brings the integration of Xeikon digital press technology and digital die cutting devices to the next level, creating new opportunities to further automate production and increase productivity.
Vectorizor enables the digital front-end to generate, next to the printable bitmaps, die cut files that can be used to connect to digital die cutting devices.
Because every sheet can have a different shape, it is only the digital front-end that knows the exact positions on the web. The application generates files containing the shape of “frames”, these files are transferred to the die cutting device. At the same time barcodes, printed next to the job, instruct the die cutting system which one of the vector based shapes to use.

Company portrait
Xeikon, a division of Flint Group, is a long-standing leader and innovator in digital printing technology. Grounded in the principles of quality, flexibility and sustainability, Xeikon designs, develops and delivers web-fed digital colour presses for label and packaging applications, document printing, and commercial printing. These printing machines work with different imaging technologies, open workflow software and application-specific consumables.
In 2015, Xeikon joined Flint Group to create a new “Digital Printing Solutions” division for the leading global print consumables and solution provider to the packaging and print media industries. Flint Group develops and manufactures an extensive portfolio of consumables for the printing industry. These include a vast range of conventional and energy-curable inks and coatings, press room chemicals, printing plates and equipment, printing blankets and sleeves, and pigments and additives for use in inks and other colorant applications.
