Sustainable Premium Packaging: Better Human with UV / LED UV
The Better Human project shows how premium packaging can be reconciled with the demands of environmental protection and sustainability.
In a second series of our Better Human project on the occasion of drupa 2021, new finishes and UV and LED-UV technology will be used.
The fictitious Better Human brand has now expanded its business area, originally based on small electronic devices, and now also offers ecologically compatible S[h]aver disposable razors for women and men. For the Ear[th]Buds there is now a blue version with additional refinements
The central topics are the reduction of the CO2 balance, the use of renewable raw materials and the recyclability of the packaging. The construction, the materials, the finishing and the production are designed to meet the requirements of the Packaging Ordinance. In addition, a concept for recycling plastics that arise during production will be presented.
This means that the new sample packaging with UV, pigments, cold transfer and hot stamping can also be recycled.
The experiences from design to finishing and material selection to production are again summarized in tutorials.

Nature Cosmetics Packaging
This 4-part presentation box was produced for the Merck Color Forecast for cosmetic applications. The semi-annual forecast shows the current fashionable color themes and how these can be implemented with effect pigments in cosmetic products such as lipsticks.
Another area of application for such multi-part constructions is gift packaging.
The box consists of a total of four parts: the storage box, the lid, the inlay and the sleeve.
There is also an A4 sample on which the most important finishes are shown in a cutout.
In addition to bronzing with effect pigments, various hot stamping with nanoembossing and matt / gloss effects are used.
